Operations Finance Manager is responsible for the ownership of business performance analysis, reporting, and forecasting. Creates, summarizes, and analyzes a variety of financial data, maintains and updates financial models and plans, and prescribes business remedies and process improvements. Provides financial analysis and develops comprehensive projections for the organization in support of functional business objectives. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own discipline.



  • Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives and identifies emerging financial trends and best business course to capitalize or correct.

  • Owns all aspects of the departmental budget, forecast and variance analysis and related reports as needed.

  • Provides rationale behind reports and analysis and relays them in simple terms.

  • Creates and maintains statistical/financial databases and reports. Runs appropriate daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports.

  • Participates in departmental budget meetings – supporting Divisional leaders with detailed reporting for financial and operational process/labor performance to established goals.

  • Develops and maintains labor analytics of teams/locations, identifying performance impacts to budget.

  • Supports technology reviews on financial impacts.

  • Advises department leadership in performance opportunities and prioritizations of key strategies to improve financial and operational performance.

  • Initiates and leads continuous improvement strategies with the dept workforce and appropriate stakeholders or its members.

  • Leads RFP processes to support technology or outsource comparison. Provides comparative analysis for cost: benefits for new providers of service to those already in existence.

  • Participates in continuous improvement process review, assisting in providing data and analysis for improvements.

  • Partners with external vendors regarding operations, relevant reporting, and cooperative cost efficiencies.

  • Prepares and provides KPI reporting and analytics affecting the financial roll up of the dept performance on a daily/weekly/monthly roll-up basis.

  • Collaborates with external vendor partners as it pertains to the business function. 




  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.

  • REQUIRED - Expertise in one of the following areas: Call Center, Fulfillment & Distribution or Sales & Product Planning

  • 5-7 experience in various job-related areas including budgeting, financial analysis, accounting, forecasting and business planning.

  • To ensure service levels, it is essential that the individual in this role be able to work a regular and reliable schedule as provided by management.

  • Given the significant responsibilities of this role, it is essential that this role be filled on a full-time basis only.

  • It is essential that the duties of this role be performed on-site at iMedia’s facility.
