Job Title: Production Supervisor - Second Shift (3pm - 12am)

Department: Manufacturing

Reports to: Director of Manufacturing Operations

Position Summary/Objective

The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor will be responsible for organizing, managing and directing the production floor, Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensuring the manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently, assessing project and resource requirements, overseeing production process, and enforcing quality control and safety standards.

Essential Functions


  • Maintain high product quality and manufacturing yield while ensuring optimal use of resources and adherences to company required safety rules, regulations, and practices

  • Monitor metrics and Key Performance Indicator's (KPI's) to assess productivity

  • Develop, implement, and improve systems to maximize production outcomes

  • Facilitate problem-solving and corrective action for production issues

  • Assess and analyze current practices and drive improvement

  • Coordinate the production aspects of the product, including production schedules and milestones with management

  • Ensure production schedules are established early and executed in a timely manner

  • Ensure the overall quality of all products for multiple brands

  • Assure sufficient supplies/equipment for production staff

  • Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment

  • Oversee training and development of staff and promote a teamwork environment

  • Perform other duties, assignments and projects as needed and requested

Required Education and Experience


  • MUST BE BILINGUAL - English & Spanish

  • Minimum HS Diploma

  • 3 - 5 years of supervisory/managerial experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in Food and Beverage, nutraceutical and/or supplement manufacturing)

  • Proven leadership and management skills

  • Strong communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure; excellent time management skills

  • Knowledge of FDA/cGMP, OSHA regulated environment requirements and documentation practices

Physical Demands

The employee is required to sit, stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift. The employee is also required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.

Must be able to work 3pm - 12am shift, sometimes later depending on production schedule
