Position Description:

The Hughes-Treitler Business Unit designs and manufactures state of the art plate-fin heat exchangers, cold plates, condensers, evaporators, and other heat transfer products. We provide custom design and engineering services, to high quality manufacturing standards,for the aircraft, engine and industrial heat exchangers in the mobile/marine/avionics/space and missile markets.

We are currently seeking a Dip Braze Tech Trainee.

Position Requirements:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Responsible for assembly of dip braze units per blueprints, route cards and method sheets
• Responsible for fixturing of dip braze jobs, old and new - making racks, plates, clamps, etc.
• Assist with heat treating process
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
• High School diploma

Language Skills
• Must be conversant in and read and write English

Other Skills and Abilities
• Must have basic math skills
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to use measuring tools - micrometer, caliper, etc.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs minimum
• Computer literacy

Equipment Used
• Drill press
• Boom
• Basic hand tools
• Electric drills, cutting wheels, etc.
• Use of respirator during dipping process
• Respirator use during dipping process
