Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the claims intake, third party administrator review, and reinsurance reporting.
In this role, you will:
Provide oversight of TPA claim files and follow claims management guidelines as devised by the TPA, resulting in timely reporting of proper action and irregularities.
Provide oversight and instruction to TPA account representatives for maintaining statutory standards.
Attend legal proceedings as warranted and as directed by claims management to assure optimal claims resolution within settlement authority.
Report claims which meet criteria for reinsurance as directed.
Assure standards for CMS compliance, claims intake and TPA oversight are adequately measured.
Provide report of monthly claims intake to division manager as directed.
Responsible for the oversight and direction of the division personnel; with an emphasis on performance and outcomes.
Work collaboratively with division manager to outline accomplishments and deficiencies to assure timely delivery of required results. Additional accountabilities as assigned.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Active Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Adjusters License required
6 years of worker’s compensation claims handling experience required
Other Requirements
This position requires the physical ability to perform extensive repetitive motions in using a computer and the routine use of other office equipment. Work is typically performed while sitting and does not require heavy lifting. Must be willing and able to perform all job-related travel.
