A Manufacturing Engineer job in Monroe, GA is currently available through Belcan at one of our key automotive customers. To be considered for this role, you will have a Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, and five plus years of experience in a high volume/fast paced Automotive Manufacturing facility. In addition, experience with PLC, Automation, and CNC Controls is strongly preferred. This is a very visible, contract to hire opportunity with a growing company and has excellent upward mobility.

Manufacturing Engineer Job duties:
* Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
* Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of buildings and equipment.
* Assists with the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
* Gives input to product design based on design for manufacture/design for assembly philosophy.
* Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
* Assist in development of document quality system for new programs (control plan, PFMEA, process flow, work instructions, and inspection plans.)
* Utilize data such as downtime, scrap, efficiencies, etc. to plan and strategize countermeasures for equipment and process problems.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with five (5) years Engineering experience. Experience in high volume/fast paced Automotive Manufacturing industry is preferred.
* Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.
* PLC Experience (Preferred Exp with Omron, Keyence, Mitsubishi)
* Automation Experience (Preferred Exp w/VFD"s, IAI, Yamaha, Denso)
* Vision and Laser Marking (Preferred Exp w/Keyence & Panasonic)
* Understanding of CNC Controls (Preferred Exp w/Fanuc, G&M Code)
* 2D / 3D CAD (Preferred Exp w/AutoCad, Solid Works)
* Problem analysis and problem resolution.
* Familiarity with current automotive standard and OSHA regulations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Must be proficient in MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint. Some Access experience preferred.
