Job Description:

The Data Innovations Manager Business Partners has the responsibility for leading the company’s Business Partner team. This position’s primary responsibility is to ensure optimal performance of the Business Partner Team is achieved through goal setting, processes, execution, and alignment with the business and its’ strategic objectives. 


 


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:



  • Work with Director of North America Sales to promote and maintain a world-class Sales culture, focused on delivering outstanding Business Partner sales results


  • Facilitate regular 1:1s and career growth conversations with your direct reports, that includes: goal setting, feedback, technical discussions and reviews, coaching and mentoring

  • Keep a constant pulse on your team to ensure engagement, continuous growth and learning and overall alignment

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with business partners, strategic customers, and industry colleagues

  • Take a hands-on, team-oriented approach to leadership Providing energy, passion, guidance and direction to the team;

  • Proactively identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.

  • Own revenue planning and forecasting for business partners and provide regular updates on partner sales, pipelines and relevant closed deals


  • Deliver sales presentations of the company’s products and solutions


  • Monitor and communicate strategic information such as market intelligence, customer and business partner data, and competitive initiatives to appropriate internal personnel

  • Collaborate with other departments in the successful development and maintenance of cross team services, functions and improvements

  • Ensure the execution and compliance with Business Partner Agreements, including working closely with legal teams during the negotiation process; oversee and approve agreement negotiations

 


Requirements


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • 2+ years of team leadership experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives

  • Proven record of driving growth

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Satisfy travel requirements (minimum 50% of travel required)

  • Strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated record of meeting commitments

 


 


Education and/or Experience


Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of relevant working experience in sales management OR at least 6 years relevant working experience


 


Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
While performing duties of this job, the employee is predominately working at customer locations, with the remainder of the time working from a home-based office.


 


Preferred skills and experience:


In addition to the above requirements, the ideal employee/candidate will have experience with the following:



  • Experience with B2B relationship management

  • Strategic planning

 


Supervision Level


This person reports directly to the Director of North America Sales and has the responsibility for leading and mentoring a team.
