A ROLE YOU WILL LOVE
Provide support for a team of High Risk Analysts who monitor contested legal matters, exception timeline reporting for foreclosures, bankruptcies, REO, new pleadings, issues and holds from company vendors, and coordinate with outside counsel. Assist with keeping various department work queues current.
Primary Accountabilities


  • Assist High Risk Analysts with tasks needed to effectively manage loans which have been deemed to be high risk, complex default contested or adversarial cases.


  • Responsibilities include document collection, review and electronic storage, research, analysis and other items as needed.


  • Assist with data base tasks including setting up items in hold and issues queues and clearing items from exception reports.


  • Work certain assigned queues including bankruptcy, RESPA and title issues.


  • Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

Required:

  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word.


  • Strong problem-solving ability, data collection, analysis, and presentation experience.


  • Ability to gather and analyze information and develop alternative solutions.


  • Strong communication skills.


  • Consistently demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

Education and Experience
Required:

  • Training as a paralegal preferred.


  • 1 years of mortgage servicing or high-risk experience preferred with an emphasis on default administration, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and/or REO.


  • Other financial services experience of an analytical nature or operations management experience may be applicable.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred


Language Ability
Ability to read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one/small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Ability
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
