Job Title: Enterprise Applications Architect
GENERAL SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for automated deployment and configuration of enterprise scale applications. The EAA will be a member of the Enterprise Systems and Data team, whose mission is to ensure operational readiness of Enterprise Applications projects, provide expert level (tier 3) support for deployed applications, and secure return on investment of digital innovation and data centric initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops standards and guidelines for the use and acquisition of software to protect sensitive information
Ensures applications and related solutions are optimized for CRAA environments and use cases.
Works with Infrastructure Architecture and provides feedback on performance of applications.
Provides mentoring / coaching / pairing to Operations on how to support/troubleshoot applications.
Establishes a deployment strategy for an application.
Identifies integration points, and systemic points of convergence for applications, ensuring systems are laid out in a way makes them easy to add / remove.
Establishes monitoring of application level services (establish KPI's and specific app level checks to ensure reliability)
Establishes backup strategy around application data.
Works with operations on identified needs to configure the applications to the use cases identified by stakeholders following best practices.
Provides tier 3 support for deployed applications and ensures operational readiness of those applications.
SSAS solution vetting and inclusion\integration. Understanding the API's from SASS solutions and how they can be leveraged for future needs.
Maintains Application Level information database.
Stay in front of enterprise application lifecycle phases and ensure timely upgrades / replacement strategies, including major version application upgrade release planning.
Reviews configurations with a focus on standardizing data across the enterprise.
Reviews code changes and approves or recommends refactoring opportunities.
Enhances application search functions through metadata, tagging, and indexing.
Helps drive solutions through root-causes analysis around application issues.
Performs related work as required.
Application Integration and Configuration diagrams / documentations from High level (enterprise wide to user functional level)
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in a computer science or STEM-related field; advanced degree preferred
Minimum five (5) years of experience working with large-scale enterprise application deployments
Or equivalent education and years of experience
