Objective
This role leads our Community Resources Team in driving new membership acquisition through Select Employee Groups and by enhancing our brand visibility within the community. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for community and local business engagement. As the Community Resources Team Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies, coordinating promotional events, fostering external partnerships, and providing ongoing support, coaching and development to Team Members and other frontline staff.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provides guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to ensure alignment with sales goals and objectives
Sets clear performance expectations and provides regular feedback to drive individual and team success
Develops and implements strategic plans and activity calendars aimed at driving new membership through external partnerships, internal stakeholders, branch staff and Community Resources Team
Identifies and prioritizes potential employer partners for membership acquisition initiatives
Assigns team members to events and activities in alignment with their skillset, and helps to plan and outline deliverables expected for successful execution
Identifies target markets and opportunities for growth, leveraging promotions, events, and partnerships
Generates leads through cold calling, networking, and other outreach methods
Provides support and training to branch employees on sales strategies, promotions, and outreach initiatives
Collaborates with internal stakeholders to align sales strategies with overall business objectives and priorities
Plans, organizes, delegates, and executes promotional campaigns and events aimed at attracting new members and increasing brand visibility
Serves as relationship manager to partner businesses, liaises directly to coordinate new hire events that introduce employees of partner business to credit union membership benefits and services
Makes recommendations to internal partners on promotional materials and collateral to support sales efforts
Collaborates with partner organizations to identify opportunities for joint promotions or events that benefit both parties including new hire orientations
Cultivates and maintains relationships acting as a liaison between the credit union and external partners, representing our organization professionally and fostering mutually beneficial relationships
Leverages existing business partnerships to increase awareness of credit union membership benefits and services
Utilizes promotions, incentives, and special offers to attract new members and encourage account openings
Attends community events, job fairs, and new hire orientations to promote credit union membership and services
Utilizes available resources to generate leads from attendees during special events and community activities.
Engages and trains KEMBA associates attending events to maintain performance expectations and consistent brand representation
Tracks and reports on sales activities, including leads generated, membership sign-ups, and conversion rates
Analyzes sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Provides regular updates and reports to management on sales performance and progress towards goals
Delivers presentations or workshops on financial topics at community events or partner organizations, demonstrating by example the high level of quality expected from team members
Oversees volunteer activities, providing guidance and support to ensure successful event execution
Performs other duties as required by Credit Union management
Develops and maintains an understanding of Credit Union history, philosophy, organization, policies, and operational procedures
On a self-directed basis, continues to improve individual level of competency through training and certification on established educational programs
Must be able to relate to other people beyond giving and receiving instructions:

Required Qualifications
The ability to work evening and weekend hours
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
5-7 years of experience in event planning, community engagement, or marketing roles
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and design
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Power Point
A passion for community involvement and promoting financial literacy
Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
