The Sr. Manager of Global Integrated Business Planning will be the recognized leader of the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) system for Tennant Company. This includes SIOP process excellence through the phases of the monthly sequence as well as a focus on achieving the business results for the enterprise and each business unit. The SIOP leader will also be responsible for improving the effectiveness and developing the maturity of the SIOP process with the objective of supporting the short- and long-term business plans. These plans will be used throughout the company as input to the budget development process, earnings release, and board of director's materials. This position requires a highly adaptable leader, who can coordinate a cross-functional, global team at varying levels of the organization and balance the often conflicting and variable requirements of customers and stakeholders with global operations and supply to drive strategies that will yield strong performance results for Tennant Company.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead the continued development, improvement, and execution of the Integrated Business Planning (SIOP) system through collaboration with sales, product management, finance, supply chain, and operations in alignment with business strategies and objectives for the Global Enterprise

- Facilitate the monthly SIOP process sequence in partnership with both business unit and supply /operations organizations globally that aligns both short term (0-12 weeks) and long-term horizon (12 to 78 weeks)

- Lead the Consensus and Executive Reviews to drive the effective business decision-making process

- Develop and implement governance, policies, processes, and tools that provide consistent and accurate information, data, and metrics to all elements of the SIOP system including but not limited to demand, supply, and inventory

- Collaborate with product management and other functions to develop the monthly demand plan with an 18-month rolling horizon for each BU region and related sites

- Develop a process for identification of new product demand streams and impacts from product launches, engineering changes, product obsolescence, and transitions (Supply & Footprint)

- Contribute to the continuous development of planning systems and supporting tools that lead to a world-class SIOP process

- Drive leading indicators of forecast accuracy and bias to yield improvement in customer experience metrics as well as internal P&L and balance sheet metrics

- Support working capital/inventory strategies toward inventory optimization through effective SIOP execution in alignment with demand and supply planning execution

- Own and manage Integrated Business Planning / SIOP calendar of events, meeting recaps and action plans, issue resolution, and tracking demand/supply mitigating actions

- Collaborate to quantify and define the scope for capacity, resource, logistics, and supply chain planning

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

- Bachelors level degree with a concentration in Supply Chain, Finance, Management, or related fields.

- 12+ years of experience in Supply Chain/ Inventory Planning/ Sales Planning

- Business Experience on a global level

- 5+ years' experience in a leadership role with demonstrated success managing teams

- Advanced ERP experience- SAP strongly preferred

- Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing experience is preferred

- Project / Program Management Experience is preferred

- MS Office, SAP, or related ERP experience

- Knowledge of and exposure to complex business systems
