JP Morgan's Integrated Payments Product Group (IPPG) is building a strategy team to drive superior product management decision-making on the most critical issues. The team will employ creative problem-solving, conduct rigorous fact-based analysis, and harness deep subject matter expertise from across the Firm. Areas of focus include developing industry vertical strategies, prioritizing geographic market entries, identifying synergies across product roadmaps, exploring emerging technologies, assessing potential bolt-on acquisition targets, and determining the product strategy implications of industry trends and competitor moves.

Qualifications
Track record of strong performance at the Executive Director level
Minimum of 10+ years of experience, including experience in strategy covering the financial services or fintech sector
Self-starter able thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environment that is results-driven
Strong end-to-end problem-solving skills, e.g.,
Defining and deconstructing problems
Prioritizing issues, analysis, and team capacity
Structuring and building quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analyses, leveraging operational, financial, and market data
Participating in, and independently conducting, internal and external interviews
Performing competitor/industry research leveraging both public and non-public sources
Applying strong business judgment to surface implications from analysis and develop practical, high-impact options
Rigorous, logical thinker with ability to identify and articulate rationale, assumptions, and risks
Excellent relationship-building skills, with ability to establish trust and credibility across lines of business and functions, work well in cross-functional teams, and influence key stakeholders
History of managing varied teams of professionals in project-based environments with proven ability to coach and develop the team
Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
Financial services expertise required, strong preference for payments industry knowledge
Fortitude to persevere when confronted with difficult challenges
Strong time-management and organizational skills with ability to objectively prioritize
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate technical topics to a non-technical audience
Superior judgment to mitigate risk and foster an environment where risk/control issues are escalated and creative solutions are identified
Bachelor's degree required; graduate degree in a business or technical field preferred
Excellent skills using MS Excel and PowerPoint
Flexibility for occasional travel
Strategy team members will typically work remotely 3+ days/week, coming together in person to collaborate in a JPMC office the other days (once it is safe to do so). Strong preference for NYC Metro area (mid-town Manhattan or Jersey City), with openness to other Wholesale Payments hubs including Chicago, IL, Plano, TX, and San Francisco, CA
