JOB PURPOSE AND IMPACT
The Hub Engineering Manager will lead and provide execution of our engineering capital allocations for a facility or multiple facilities. You will serve on the site leadership team providing strategic input into the identification and development of the operational vision, direction and people resources needed to deliver results.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Anticipates and plans for future engineering needs and develops the three to five year capital planning required for normal operations.
Serve as a member of the site leadership team and provide strategic technical and engineering support for normal operations as well as project engineering oversight support for the most complex base and non-base capital projects.
Provide execution oversight for current plan year projects.
Direct the tactical development of the operational vision, direction and strategy.
Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of six years of related work experience
Minimum of three years of Project Management experience
Past financial accountability for a project or project portfolio of $2MM+ or operations budget management experience of $2MM+ annually
Ability to travel up to 25%
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
Minimum of a green belt
Demonstrated competencies in several of the key process unit operations such as evaporation, heat exchange, fluid transfer, particle size reduction, ion exchange, drying, etc.
Basic competencies in energy pinch analysis, food safety, hygienic equipment design, Automation, Electrical and Instrumentation (AE&I), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ASME B31.3 piping design, API 650 tank construction, Management of Change (MOC), National Food Processors Association (NFPA), and National Electrical Code (NEC), Process Safety Risk Management
