Working as an Embedded Software Engineer at Signify is dynamic. You ll work in a flexible environment with great people who enjoy resolving software challenges as they relate to connected lighting. We re looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who ll be responsible for the development of software for microcontroller-based LED lighting solutions.

You ll be part of the Signify Color Kinetics Embedded Software Department and its responsibilities are to conceive, design, and build innovative lighting solutions for a global market, so being a hardworking, creative, and passionate engineer must be in your DNA.

WHAT YOU LL DO

*

Responsible for development of embedded software for a wide variety of products including controllers, power supplies, and LED-based lighting fixtures
*

Contribute to all aspects of the development cycle, from design through implementation to test and deployment
*

Explore new technologies and devices that may be applicable to product designs
*

Follow an Agile Scrum framework and utilize software tools to maximize efficiency and communication within the team

WHAT YOU LL NEED

*

Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
*

BS or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar discipline
*

3 -5 years of experience developing embedded software on microcontrollers using C/C++
*

Experience with serial communications, hardware peripherals, RTOS, and network communications is highly preferred
*

Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams
