Senior Solution Architect

The Senior Solution Architect - Enterprise Architecture, helps design, architect and implement new capabilities that address any gaps and provide integrated end to end scalable, enterprise-class services. Has a proven capability to analyze existing products and infrastructure, understand how to leverage existing investments and introduce best of breed, emerging infrastructure. Evaluates business requirements to identify potential software, hardware, and system architectures can be employed to meet business objectives. This role is instrumental in migrating legacy systems to new platforms hosted both on premise and in the cloud.

Responsible for the design of functional infrastructure and providing guidance, including but not limited specifications and communications about systems, applications, and processes. Provide oversight and guidance to leaders and engineering staff. Oversee vendor relationships for technologies within purview. Enhance and monitor KPI and KRIs. Represent Enterprise Architecture in collaborative meetings with Information Security. Represent Enterprise Architecture as necessary in regulatory meetings.

Areas of Responsibility

• Analyze the business' future state capabilities, future and current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement and driving the business forward.


• Provide subject matter and solution expertise to clients and stakeholders in areas such as: architecture, use cases, installation, configuration, upgrades, assessments, hardware/software deployments, integrations and customization, sizing for enterprise applications, troubleshooting customer environments, and reviewing/recommending systems designs and implementations.


• Consult with project teams to fit projects to enterprise architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the enterprise architecture to accommodate project and/or business needs or vice versa.


• Collaborate with the technology leadership and architecture group to help define the technology roadmap for the company. Maintain the roadmap that defines path of the company in implementing, adopting, and enhancing the architecture, establishing technical directions and strategies that ensure cross-platform architectural components properly "fit".


• Conduct assessments, studies, and/or surveys to obtain data; analyzes data to advise and recommend solutions.


• Qualify, from technical perspective, new business opportunities or requirements within existing and prospective clients to ensure alignment with target markets, portfolio, and delivery and lifecycle services capabilities.


• Design and configure solution components. Propose elements, configurations, and implementation details of solution.


• Advise partners to ensure successful implementation of solutions.


• Partner closely and build strong relationships with IT and business leaders to develop the technical strategy and vision.

• 10 years of related experience.


• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.


• Must have excellent organizational skills, an attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and customer service skills.

Key Accountabilities

• Produce accurate designs and proposals for clients using new technologies, services, and methodologies.


• Consult with business partners ensure consistency with the enterprise architecture, as well as to identify when it is necessary to modify the enterprise architecture.


• Drive project and enhancement work to successful implementation.


• Assist in ensuring the day to day Infrastructure is performing and secure, and that any performance and risk issues are resolved in a timely fashion.


• Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures and emerging technologies.


• Assist in the facilitation of competency/knowledge management and succession planning within the IT organization.


• Manage and enhance relationships with other organization(s).
