Dana is a global leader in the supply of highly engineered driveline, sealing, and thermal-management technologies that improve the efficiency and performance of vehicles with both conventional and alternative-energy powertrains. PURPOSE: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple SW projects, leading the whole SW development team, serve as champion of Agile principles and practices, leads high performing delivery, safeguards and motivates the team and removes roadblocks.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides overall project management and leadership
Fosters partnership with BU program management and project leadership for delivery of the entire project
Coordinates daily standup meetings
Responsible for establishing, publishing, and managing the team’s velocity and makes adjustments in order to keep the team on track
Coordinates and manages the changes in needs, requirements, and other business assumptions
Leads cadence meetings, including daily stand ups, planning meetings, retrospectives and demonstrations. Responsible for escalation of concerns to the appropriate stakeholders
Works with each team member to confirm that business goals and acceptance criteria are clear for every story
Works with the Product Owner and development team to develop a product roadmap
Works with the Product Owner and other appropriate subject matter experts to write and prioritize stories (features and requirements)
Works with the team to help elaborate acceptance criteria for user stories
Provides manual QA testing for the software engineering team prior to Product Owner review
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, MS degree is preferred
Minimum 5 years of embedded SW and controls development experience, C++ and/or Simulink
Minimum 3 years of automotive SW development experience applying Agile process
ScrumMaster role experience, Certification a plus
Project management experience
Broad skills and expertise including (not limited to): ASPICE; AUTOSAR, model-based systems engineering; ISO26262; Product Security; DevOps pipeline and toolchain; Standard solution tools (e.g. requirements management, workflow management, static analysis, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills with abilities to build relationships across and outside the organization.
Experience in the automotive electrification SW development, EV, HEV, a plus.
Knowledgeable in basic electronics hardware and vehicle systems, a plus.
Multicore software development or system design experience in automotive, a plus.
Experience in ASPICE methodology.
Experience in functional safety (ISO26262) development.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (French a plus).
