A Nationally ranked hospital system is seeking a Director of Perioperative services at one of their acute care facilities in the North Shore of Long Island. 

The Director of Perioperative Services will be joining a facility that houses close to 400 Beds and up to 20 Operating rooms. The Hospital is a nationally recognized leader in Cardiovascular care and Surgery. The Director of Perioperative Services is a prestigious opportunity and will be responsible over the coordination and direction of the Operating Room, Cardiothoracic Operating Room, PACU, Endoscopy, Pre-Admission Testing, Central Sterile Department and Perfusion in the delivery of nursing care services related to the perioperative adult, older adult, adolescent and pediatric patients. The Director of Perioperative services will participate in infection control and safety committees to implement proper policy and procedures to promote successful and safe operations of the Perioperative Service line. Director of Perioperative services will monitor budgets activities and promote quality measures of their department closely collaborating with other units and medical directors, reporting directly to the Chief Nursing officer.
