UST Global(R) is looking for an experienced Sr Software Architect to make detailed engineering and design decisions for software development. Someone who can see the "big picture" and translate it into modern architectural approaches for software design and implementation to guide the development team.

A great software architect has a strong technical background and excellent team leadership skills. They are experienced in designing complex global systems and possess the ability to develop a well-described set of design artifacts that define the software characteristics and functions. They also are able to lead a team of software engineers to efficiently construct and test the system to produce a high quality software product.

As a Sr Software Architect at UST Global; this is your opportunity to:
* Lead a software development team in producing the UST "Boost" suite of software solutions
* Collaborate with UST Retail & Supply Chain team members to determine best practices and requirements for software
* Development and oversight of all product roadmaps and approval of final programs and products before formal launch
* Direct DevOps and collaborate with Project Managers to ensure Epics; Requirements; Work Items; Backlog; Sprints; etc are managed such that the development teams constantly increase the velocity and quality of software produced
* Oversee and support the coaching and training of team members to ensure all necessary employees are confident in the use of software applications
* Prepare an easy to understand report for supervisors detailing achieved milestones and short-term project goals
* Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching best practices in coding
* Ensure software privacy & security by enforcing data security & privacy by design engineering requirements
* Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
* Conduct/lead business process analysis.
* Responsibility for overall success of the delivery.
* Lead the project team to design and develop functional specifications for modifications; interfaces; reports; and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements.
* Create and modify procedural and system documentation throughout the project.
* Support development and execution of test scripts to ensure Blue Yonder software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.
* Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user; management; and executive level audiences.
* Assist Project Manager(s) in planning efforts.
* Estimate effort of task level implementation activities that are within the scope of the project and recommend appropriate role to execute those tasks.

You bring:
* 3 - 8 Years of Experience
* BS Degree in Computer Science preferred

* Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure software architectures and services specifically including Azure Edge Computing Stack; IoT Hub; Streaming Analytics; PowerBI; & PowerApps
* Deep expertise in modern software lifecycle DevOps tools & methodologies such as Agile; Scrum; CMMI; etc
* Experience in developing marketable software products in a "nocode/lowcode" environment such as PowerApps; Salesforce Lightning; NetSuite; or AWS Honeycomb
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication; problem solving; diplomacy and influencing skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment that fosters change; creativity and flexibility.

* Track record in architecting and or consulting on multiple software application projects concurrently.
* Proven experience of change and risk management.
* Involvement in the sales cycles of relevant software solutions.
* Experienced in implementing advanced planning solutions. Blue Yonder experience is preferred.
* Knowledge of business processes in Retail.
* Ability to develop and maintain strong; productive relationships with customers; partners; and consultants.
* Strong proactive communicator and presenter; able to influence and collaborate at all levels to maximize problem resolution whilst effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized technical questions
* Ability to work independently and be effective/proactive in a relatively unstructured environment.
* Experienced in defining problems; collecting data; establishing facts; and drawing valid conclusions
* Fluent business English (speaking and writing) with second European language preferred.
