Summary

The Inside Channel Sales Acct Manager is responsible for the overall relationship between NEC and its Customers, managing all facets of the business relationship and marshalling the Company resources necessary to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction.  Responsible for constantly seeking new customers and expanding the business relationship with existing customers.  Responsible for uncovering, qualifying, defining, proposing and closing new sales orders in line with the Company’s business objectives and within profitability guidelines established by the Company.   Responsible for achieving assigned sales quota. Direct Recruitment of Resellers and through Distributors. Sales of premise and hosted Unified Communication solutions to include SIP trunking.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 


  • Performs inside sales activities for assigned Solutions Integrators to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.

  • Contacts prospective customers to determine needs.

  • Creates and performs sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified needs. 

  • Works closely with business development resources to drive net-new opportunities.

  • Remains knowledgeable of company's products/services to facilitate sales efforts.

  • Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.

  • Often responsible for moderately complex and somewhat difficult to close sales.

  • May arrange licensing agreements with retailers.

  • Maintains regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

  • Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone and occasional on-site visits.

  • Alerts client to new or improved products/services.

  • Marshall’s internal resources to address customers' technical requirements.

  • Meet Monthly achievement of sales quota

  • Provide clients with excellent customer service

 

Prerequisites


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales.

  • Experience:

    • 1 or more years of sales experience.

    • Highest level of knowledge of complex communications technology/software and selling skills. 

    • Effective management skills with ability to manage indirect channel partners.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills


  • Language Skills: Excellent Business English

  • Mathematical Skills: Basic Math

  • Reasoning Skills: Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, presentation, and organization + customer service skills. Professional appearance and presentation required.

  • Computer and/or Technical Skills: Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
