The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Production Supervisor you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Ensuring a safe working environment

  • Providing direct supervision to both full-time and contingent employees

  • Driving continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost

  • Championing lean manufacturing efforts and lead projects to improve processes and quality. Create and analyze data and charts to identify trends.

  • Planning daily work schedules, determine priorities, allocate work assignments, and regulate production processes to meet specific daily production requirements

  • Coordinating activities with maintenance, contractors, visitors, etc.

  • Night shift supervisor position working from 7PM to 7AM on a 4-crew schedule.  

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:


  • Possess high school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from accredited institution

  • Three (3) years manufacturing experience in a public, private, government, or military environment

  • Two (2) years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:


  • Production experience in a high speed, high volume manufacturing processes

  • Leadership experience such as supervisor or lead person assignments

  • Minimum five (5) years manufacturing experience

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
