BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Application Programmer V (Full stack Java) for an opportunity in Richmond, VA | Atlanta, GA!




Position Title: Application Programmer V (Full stack Java)




Location: Richmond, VA | Atlanta, GA




Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 Months.




Job Type: CONTRACT, Hybrid




Pay Range: $55 to $60/hr.



Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).

Requirements:



Must have - Java, Angular, SQL.


Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.


Participate and guide team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.


Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.


Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.


Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements.


Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.


Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.


Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.


Participate, contribute, and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes.


Proficient in designing, developing, and executing test cases. Knowledge of Test Automation and tools.


Ability to perform or support continuous integration and deployment activities within their role. Understanding and appreciation for DevOps culture.


Possesses an understanding of architecture and bank standards. Participates in or supports delivery of architecture designs and implementations.


Contributes to artifacts needed for governance forums; Understands stakeholder expectations and creates regular updates to keep stakeholders informed.


Possesses knowledge of prior solutions to existing problems and applies them to solve similar problems.
