What you'll do:



The Global Analytics & Insight mission is to improve the quality of the decisions taken on our assets and across our Disease Areas through the generation of excellent market, customer and competitor insight and analysis. This role will focus on our emerging portfolio and will lead a program of insight, analysis and forecast generation in support of a variety of PH3 investment opportunities.


Currently seeking:



Global Oncology - Phase 3 Investment Decision Analytics, Insights and Forecasting - Associate Director



The key to excelling in this role is your ability to turn analysis into a clear story and recommendations suitable for use by senior leaders. To develop these, you will be a critical thinker capable of delivering well researched, verified, and relevant analyses in a clear and impactful way. This requires the ability to lead without authority alongside strong analytical and interpersonal skills. You will be comfortable formulating cohesive, strategic arguments which may be used to respectfully challenge a group of experts.



What You Will Do:



  • Provide strategy shaping market and customer analysis.

  • Be responsible for developing deep therapy area knowledge bridging from clinical development through to commercialization.

  • Lead the integration of insight and analysis from a variety of sources to inform material decisions through delivering robust, opportunity-focused forecasts. To achieve this, you will consolidate data from a wide range of sources into actionable brand opportunities.

  • Be responsible for the development, delivery, and team alignment of the product/brand forecast and related assumptions.

  • Ensure interpretation of primary market research is generating actionable insights.

  • Work closely with AZ colleagues to lead the generation of competitive analysis for an opportunity, ensuring that implications are reflected in forecasts.

  • Support licensing opportunities where relevant.




Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, mathematics, or quantitative subject area

  • 4 years or more of validated experience in forecasting/epidemiology in Global or US Oncology




Preferred Requirements:



  • Advanced Degree in Life Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Quantitative or equivalent subject area

  • Experience within a strategic consultancy

  • A background in pharmaceutical investment banking analysis.
