This is an overnight/ 3rd shift position.



Directs the activities and oversees the training and development of the floor care team. Experience in hard floor care, carpet care, terrazzo polishing, as well as other janitorial tasks. Must be able to maintain equipment and conduct minor repairs.



POSITION REQUIREMENTS - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Lead, manage and direct the operations of all assigned floor care staff and supervision

  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation staff and management

  • Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with Company policies

  • Allocates work responsibilities among staff

  • Ensures that all Supervisors paperwork and reports are submitted timely and accurately

  • Participates in regularly scheduled Safety, audits, risk assessments, inspections, and meetings to determine the effectiveness of safety and accident prevention activities, and to ensure compliance with all applicable safety directives

  • Oversee and direct assigned staff for performance reviews, new hires and terminations

  • Perform Corrective disciplinary action and positive reinforcement as needed with assigned staff

  • Promote and exhibit Company culture and values

  • Maintain daily communication with management and supervisory staff to resolve issues or problems

  • Investigate employee incidents and accidents

  • Must be able to safely operate all equipment associated with cleaning

  • Ability to train others in the proper use of equipment

  • Ensure that customer floor care cleaning specifications are being followed

  • Performs daily inspections and maintenance of all operating equipment

  • Good understanding how to maintain different types carpet and hard surface flooring

  • Able to take direction and follow through with assignments

  • Schedules periodic project work

  • Allocates work responsibilities among staff effectively

  • Supervises all training programs, both for new and existing employees:

  • Instructs employees on the proper methods of cleaning and maintenance of equipment

  • Corrects deficiencies

  • Other duties as assigned by Operations Managers
