Volt is immediately hiring for a Part Time Human Resources Manager in Carpinteria, CA.

As a Part -Time Human Resources Manager you will:

  • Key responsibilities create, update, and apply HR policies and company guidelines, ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
  • Payroll Management, prepare payroll and make necessary changes to employee payroll deductions in ADP
  • Policy Development and Implementation:
  • Responsible for developing processes for onboarding of newly hired employees, educating them on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain physical and digital employee files, including benefits and attendance records.
  • Facilitate training and provide any required government or company-mandated HR training.
  • Implement and update the compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary; analyze compensation; assist and monitor the performance appraisal program.
  • Manage employee benefits, including workers' compensation claims and OSHA annual reporting.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as e-filing and maintaining records.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Managing of office functions as required by positions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum of five years' proven experience implementing human resources programs and policies;
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the company, including senior-level executives to front-line workers
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP Systems

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 25 hours **Must have flexibility with schedule**

Hybrid Schedule

Hourly Pay: $28.00-$35.00

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
