Job Description:

Join the Overwatch team as a Level Designer and unleash your creativity and passion for game design! You will be responsible for crafting balanced and readable spaces that combine gameplay flow and visual appeal. You will also collaborate with the Game Director and Lead Designers to bring your own ideas to life in our proprietary game engine. You will prototype, implement, and polish maps and game modes, and work with other departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable player experience.
Responsibilities:

• Building spaces that strongly support the legendary gameplay of Overwatch


• Work in collaboration with other Designers and Artists to develop new and exciting gameplay ideas


• Prototype maps and modes to expand the Overwatch universe


• Build new and refine existing layouts for Classic Overwatch game modes


• Work closely with the narrative and art team to conceive and design environments that are innovative and visually aligned with OW art fantasy.


• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and enhance the development of tools and processes used in building our levels

• This role is open to all experience levels.


• 2+ years of experience preferred, working on AAA games, with a focus on level design.


• Portfolio of diverse and engaging levels that showcase your design skills and creativity.


• Proficient with game editors and/or 3D tools.

• Proven track record of creating FPS and online multiplayer levels that captivate players


• Knowledge and experience playing Overwatch

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role's range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
