Current Need



The Lead Solution Architect spearheads the definition of architecture principles, steering technology decisions, and ensuring their harmony with business objectives. With a robust background in eCommerce platforms, you'll drive the conception and execution of cutting-edge, scalable solutions for our organization. Your leadership extends to guiding a team of architects and engineers and fostering close collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of solutions that harness the forefront of technology and industry best practices.



Description



  • Define and communicate the strategic architecture vision, principles, and standards to align with business goals, emphasizing eCommerce requirements.


  • Lead the design and architecture of complex software solutions, considering scalability, reliability, security, and performance, while integrating robust eCommerce capabilities.


  • Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to drive innovation and improvement within our tech stack.


  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and other architects to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive consensus on technical solutions, incorporating needs.


  • Provide expertise and guidance on full-stack solutions leveraged in the eCommerce space.


  • Identify potential risks and technical debt in the architecture and propose mitigation strategies to ensure long-term maintainability and scalability.


  • Mentor and coach junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation in eCommerce-driven architecture design and implementation.


  • Establish governance processes to ensure compliance with architectural principles and standards.





Minimum Requirements



Typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience



Critical Skills



  • Experience in software architecture, with a focus on enterprise-scale solutions and a background in eCommerce.


  • Proven experience leading architecture design and implementation efforts, with a track record of delivering successful projects on time and within budget.


  • Proficiency in Java and Spring frameworks


  • Expertise in designing scalable, highly available systems


  • Experience with distributed systems, micro-services architecture, and container orchestration systems such as Kubernetes


  • Experience with message brokers like Kafka and streaming data processing platforms


  • Experience working in agile environments and familiarity with agile methodologies.


  • Experience in managing and working with distributed team members.





Additional Knowledge & Skills



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, particularly in eCommerce contexts.


  • Knowledge of and experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus.


  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with respect to documentation.


  • Exceptional verbal and written communication competency.


  • Excellent critical thinking and diagnostic aptitude.


  • High capacity to manage multiple priorities.


  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and ownership for task/project completion.


  • Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members in a creative and effective manner.


  • Desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability.





Education



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. Our Base Pay Range for this position



$145,700 - $242,900
