Current Need



As the PSAS Generics business team expands their needs in the eCommerce space, there is a need to establish a team to support their technology goals. This product owner role is needed to ensure that the customer vision is realized on time and within budget.



Description



  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business priorities for eCommerce capabilities.


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and feedback.


  • Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation to guide development efforts, incorporating eCommerce requirements.




  • Plan and coordinate product releases, working closely with development teams, designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.


  • Conduct product demos, gather feedback, and iterate on features based on insights from and analytics data.


  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and user feedback to assess product performance and identify areas for improvement.


  • Identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact product delivery or quality.


  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and customer needs, integrating analytics insights into product decisions and feature prioritization.





Minimum Requirements



Typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience



Critical Skills



  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in product ownership roles, demonstrating proficiency in orchestrating vision, strategy, and execution of product development initiatives, with a solid foundation in eCommerce solutions.


  • Service Now experience


  • JIRA experience


  • API design experience


  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, product management best practices, and software development processes.





Additional Knowledge & Skills



  • Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management is desirable, with a preference for certifications emphasizing eCommerce capabilities.


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders


  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret data to make informed product decisions.


  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.





Education



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).

Our Base Pay Range for this position



$102,800 - $171,300
