IT Product Management Analyst - Digital Health at Medtronic

The person in this role may work remotely within the US or onsite at a US-based Medtronic facility.

The Digital Health team delivers exceptional digital health experiences leveraging our depth of experience across Medtronic. We work across all Operating Units to design and deliver solutions that are used by clinicians and patients, as well as R&T and R&D teams. We deliver capabilities such as patient engagement, clinical decision support, care management, and interoperability by working directly with partners in the business to understand their needs. Our projects directly enable the Insight Driven Care (IDC) program, which is tasked with making Medtronic a leader in Digital Health by supporting the transition of Medtronic from "medical device maker" to "healthcare solution company." A DAY IN THE LIFE
• Specialize in analyzing, designing, prioritizing and implementing a set of IT products, platforms and/or services.
• Leverage understanding of business strategy and needs to create a vision and roadmap for IT products, platforms and/or services.
• Ensure technologies add value and can scale Medtronic's use of a given IT solution across various businesses, regions and functions.
• Participate in feature definition and refinement for an agile software development team
• Work closely with product owners to understand feature priority, write user stories, and work in the backlog
• Engage with business partners to understand their needs and ensure product delivery addresses key needs
• Collaborate with project managers to meet project commitments and timelines
• Work with developers to refine stories and ensure development meets requirements
• Work directly with QA engineers to answer questions and prove out requirements through testing
• Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, including stand ups, refinement sessions, demos, and retrospectives
• Document requirements, write user stories, and refine with the development team
• Lead training efforts and maintain complete training documentation for applications
• Manage user acceptance testing cycle, including test case definition, writing test scripts, and working with stakeholders to complete testing
• Ensure compliance with support SLAs and contribute to production support lifecycle
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, working across time zones
• Manage quality system documentation and ensure compliance with validation requirements
• Work independently on large, moderately complex projects and assignments, with general supervision
• Collaborate with teams across Global IT including GSO, Privacy, Cloud Platform Solutions, Regulatory, and Quality

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree

• 2+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 0+ years of experience with an advanced degree

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)

• Strongly Preferred:

o Previous Medtronic experience

o Experience with Healthcare technology standards and terminology (eg HL7V2, FHIR, LOINC, CPT, etc)

o Product management/business analysis experience as part of an agile software development team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Enjoys working with ambiguity and making progress independently

• Experience working with AWS Cloud Native Services

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
