Purpose of Job: Responsible for the in-house repair and testing of all vending, coolers, fountain, and refrigeration equipment to be delivered to the end-user, depots, and customers. Tests, decals, washes, preps, and prepares all incoming and outgoing equipment for use in the market. Uses new and used equipment to meet customer specific requirements and ship to all locations within PBV.

Job Duties:

  • Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of the Beverage Equipment Shop Support & Beverage Shop Technician B.

  • Repairs equipment to “like new” condition for deployment back to customer.

  • Diagnoses, repairs, paints and evaluates the condition of equipment.

  • Accounts for parts used through proper use of company handheld equipment.

  • Closes out all work notifications the same day work is completed.

  • Keeps work area clean and organized daily, including restocking of parts.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of (2) years’ experience as a technician in a related field.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Able to manage workload independently.

  • Meet PBV driving guidelines.

  • Willing to work the hours necessary to perform the job.

Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in vending, fountain, and cooler installation, repair, or other related equipment types preferred.

  • Advanced understanding of electrical components, plumbing, board level schematics, electronics troubleshooting, and refrigeration repair is preferred.

  • Knowledge with SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently (33% - 66%) required to stand.

  • Occasionally (0%-33%) required to sit, walk and lift up to 50 lbs
