This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Production Tech, you will be responsible for :
Skills / Proficiencies
Develop & maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of product
Plan materials ensuring optimal inventory levels are maintained
Use MRP system to forecast demands, plan production and manage inventory, with a strong understanding of production planning principles.
Prepare requisitions to obtain necessary materials & components.
Collaborate with manufacturing team to ensure deadlines are met
Collaborate with purchasing/procurement team to ensure supplier timeliness
Comply with all company regulations and safety standards, following SOPs / MPIs
Knowledge of bill of materials
Product phase in/ phase out knowledge
Support of R&D new product releases from R&D phase through release to production
Strong knowledge of SAP
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field
Minimum of 10 years' experience in production planning and control
Proficiency in MRP (Material Requirement Planning) planning, especially in SAP
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask
