Nucor Business Technology is seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Engineering Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead our engineering services team consisting of Oracle DBA, Platform Engineering, Solution Configuration, Data Replication and Release Delivery teammates. This role involves managing a team of skilled engineers, overseeing project management, maintaining strong cross-departmental relationships, while delivering high-quality IT solutions and support.
Lead and manage the IT engineering services team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
Oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet requirements and are completed on time and within budget.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery and support.
Collaborate with other teams and departments to align engineeringservices with overall business goals and strategies.
Implement and enforce best practices, policies, and procedures forservice management.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure the highest standards of service.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the company's service offerings as appropriate.
Manage budgets and resource allocation for the Engineering Services team.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreein Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Applicants with equivalent work experience will also be considered.
7+ years of experience in IT engineering services, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
Verifiable technical background with hands-on experience in platform engineering, IT infrastructure, and Oracle technologies administration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated thought leadership in the areas database administration, platform engineering, data replication, and release delivery processes and technologies.
Proven experience managing infrastructure and application solutions on cloud platforms such as OCI, Azure, etc.
Demonstrated experience leading teams of Oracle database and eBusiness suite engineers.
Deep understanding and execution experience leading Agile and DevOps teams..
Advanced knowledge ofITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
Demonstrated experience streamlining engineering processes and providing automation solutions.
Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, OCP, ITIL, etc. are a plus.
