Job Details:




SUMMARY:



This position will be part of the Corporate Treasury Team focused on overseeing the administration of Tyson's cash management and lease financing activities, as well as supporting other various treasury-related and or strategic projects as needed. This position will need to demonstrate strong executional excellence and business partnership with both internal customers as well as external financial institutions.


This role will be primarily responsible for: daily management of domestic cash activities; ensuring proper lease-versus-buy policies and procedures are in place and being communicated and monitored for compliance enterprise-wide; oversight of lease bid processes; maintaining a competitive pool of potential banks to support Tyson's growth initiatives; developing and managing Treasury TEAM Members and cash/leasing tools; coordinating cash and leasing-related quarterly and year-end financial reporting.


All the above activities are performed with an ownership mindset in a dynamic team environment demonstrating close collaboration within the Treasury Team and with cross-functional partners.



REQUIREMENTS:




Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field required. MBA, CTP, or treasury finance-related advanced degree preferred.



Experience: 3-5 years in a Treasury and/or finance related position preferred. Experience in cash management, leasing & lease accounting, capital markets transactions, and contract negotiations a plus.



Computer Skills: Standard computer skills required. Advanced Excel skills with financial functions used in financial analysis including lease-vs-buy, IRR, and MIRR are required knowledge for this position.



Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong negotiation and relationship management skills required. Role also requires good interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders.



Special Skills: Advanced understanding of cash management procedures, working knowledge of lease accounting rules, and working knowledge of equipment valuations for the leased equipment that is most often leased.



Supervisory: This position will have direct reports.



Travel: 1 to 3 domestic trips per year.
