Job Details:



PBX Mechanic


SUMMARY: This position will perform maintenance on Tyson owned equipment to include shag trucks, tractors, rail car movers, truck, trailer, automotive and outside carrier equipment with little or no supervision; will include routine preventative maintenance services, electrical repair, brakes, hydraulic and fifth wheels, suspensions, tires, repair/replace structural parts on interior/exterior of trailers, minor engine repairs, welding, etc. in accordance with PBX maintenance procedures.


Requirements: Education: Prefer High School diploma or equivalency.


Experience: Prefer Previous Mechanical Experience


Computer Skills: Prefer Basic Computer skills.


Communication Skills: Must be able to communicate effectively to complete PBX repair orders and other necessary paperwork; May need to communicate via the radio.


Requirements: Team Member must be dependable, work well with others, self-motivated and willing to come in early and stay late, when necessary.
