Service Operations Coordinator at AMETEK, Inc

Key Responsibilities:


  • Interact directly with all external sales and service teams globally to provide sales and service support.
  • Process, write, and email correspondence daily, paper, and electronic files, and facilitate internal and external communication as assigned.
  • Aid sales engineers in machine configuration, part/accessory pricing, service part and travel quotes, and software quotes.
  • Conduct reviews upon receiving orders to ensure consistency with quotations.
  • Order entry for internal repairs/exchanges, spares, warranties, and field visits with the internal departments to progress tasks through completion.
  • Quote repairs, exchanges, spares, field visits, and contracts using quote templates and guidelines provided.
  • Expedite all jobs which have been quoted, but where no purchase orders have been received.
  • Maintain accurate data entry of various software packages and machine details in the ERP system.
  • Provide information to finance for credit approvals and reconcile paid service trip billing.
  • Administer all incoming customer goods for repair and process repair orders to completion and shipment.
  • Ensure parts and warranty orders are recorded properly in the ERP system.
  • Conduct "Kick-Off" meetings to resolve configuration issues upon order entry, provide order acknowledgments to customers , and update any parties involved if there are delivery date changes.
  • Answer calls and emails from customers, and agents into the service team, and email, or address any requests promptly.
  • Handle exporting licensing application and documentation requirements, and serve as the liaison with the US Government agency for the export file management.
  • Manage logistics of global customer visits and prepare supplier information requests.
  • Assist when needed to the shipping department.

Requirements:


  • Associate's Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience as a service coordinator in a manufacturing setup
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer savvy with MS Excel, Word, and Presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highest level of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
