The Role: Privacy Strategist


Target Title: Consultant or Senior Consultant or Principal


You will enjoy this role if you are passionate about privacy, compliance, and data governance. This role helps clients define privacy strategies and solutions across legal, compliance marketing, sales, and service - bridging the gap between legal, compliance, business and technology to build engaging and highly personalized experiences.



What You'll Do


  • Guide business stakeholders to define privacy strategies and solutions across legal, compliance marketing, sales, and service - bridging the gap between legal, compliance, business and technology to build engaging and highly personalized experiences

  • Plan and implement strategic roadmaps that grow privacy maturity and align to organizational objectives

  • Lead large, complex projects as subject matter expert (SME) and continuously interact with stakeholders

  • Facilitate and lead executive-level workshops

  • Develop roadmap, and define concepts and methodologies

What You'll Bring

  • Core skills in privacy, compliance, research & analysis, strategic planning & roadmap development, and data governance development

  • Experience performing competitive and best practice assessments, researching activities to identify competitive benchmarks

  • Subject matter expertise in data privacy, regulatory, and compliance, including CCPA, GDPR, and CPRA

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, and develop ideas to bring together brand goals and tailor objectives towards consumer needs

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, and to develop ideas that lead towards the implementation process and technology

  • Juris Doctor is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The base salary pay range for this position is Consultant $96,000 to $162,000, Sr. Consultant $110,000 to $186,000 and Principal $122,000 to $206,000. The targeted base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
