The Role: Data Privacy Tech Specialist



You will enjoy this role if you are passionate about data privacy tools (OneTrust, BigID, Securiti, etc.), privacy, compliance, and data governance. This role helps clients define privacy strategies and solutions across legal, compliance marketing, sales, and service - bridging the gap between legal, compliance, business and technology to build engaging and highly personalized experiences.

Target Level: Consultant or Senior Consultant or Principal



What You'll Do



• Providing technical subject matter expertise in data privacy strategies and solutions - translating business problems into IT solutions to build engaging and highly personalized experiences


• Lead all elements of data privacy strategies - from planning and executing related research to synthesizing inputs and building phased roadmaps.


• Work with local market leadership and partners on devising sales strategies aimed at growing our privacy pipeline, contributing to marketing efforts (blogs, webinars, white papers) and participating in partner events and conferences


• Manage, coach, and teach more junior consultants around privacy strategy


• Contribute to the development our practice through participation in areas such as business development (RFPs, proposals, presentations), training, methodology and toolkit development, and recruiting



What You'll Bring



• Managerial experience in leading large, transformational data privacy strategies and project pursuits, including the support of pre-sales activities


• Solution Architecture, Solution Design, or Program Management experience with a data privacy platform, tool, or process


• Technical subject matter expertise in data privacy tools (OneTrust, BigID, Securiti, etc.)


• Core skills in business process assessments, privacy, compliance, research & analysis, strategic planning & roadmap development, and data governance development


• Driving decision making processes to advise clients with solutions and strategic roadmaps


• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, and to develop ideas that lead towards the implementation of process and technology

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The base salary pay range for this position is Consultant $96,000 to $162,000, Sr. Consultant $110,000 to $186,000 and Principal $122,000 to $206,000. The targeted base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
