Summary:


The Systems Support Assistant is responsible for providing the highest quality customer experience to both our external and internal customers by scheduling installation appointments in a timely and efficient manner, handling remote programming of new and existing security systems, and assisting install and service technicians with any download related issues. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task and work within specified deadlines along with a commitment to customer service and a safe work environment. Attention to detail, focus and the ability to communicate effectively are a must.


What You'll Do:



  • Program panels per contract specifications.

  • Download program changes to systems per customer's requests.

  • Dump buffers and perform database and software backups.

  • Provide technical support for customers, customer service representatives, installation technicians, and service technicians.

  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues that may arise.

  • Schedule installation appointments with customers while maintaining efficiency, proper routing, and minimal overtime.

  • Manage technician's schedules throughout the day.

  • Complete job closing processes within strict deadlines.

  • Ensure jobs stay within acceptable margins and keep management up to date on status of jobs.


What You'll Need:



  • Minimum of 2-years' experience with security systems and/or networking.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.

  • Above average computer skills, including the ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm and working knowledge of Excel.

  • Must be able to navigate within multiple systems while speaking with customers.

  • Superior organizational skills, with a high degree of detail.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to interact in a professional and courteous manner with people at all levels.

  • Able to pass a drug test/background check.
