Bridge Structural Engineer/Project Manager at Ardurra Group, Inc.

Job Description:

Primary Function and Duties:

Primary duties include structural design and plans production for bridges and other transportation or drainage related infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate would direct and train structural design team members, perform quality control checking on design computation and plan components, and assist in the pursuit of complex multi-discipline infrastructure projects.  Successful characteristics include strong analytical skills, clear and effective communication, a high level of organization, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Education and Experience Requirements: 

A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and Florida PE licensure are required.  Extra consideration will be given to candidates with a master’s degree.  At least eight years of progressive bridge design experience on projects for the Florida Department of Transportation and/or other Florida agencies is required.  Applicants must have practical experience leading and managing the preliminary and final design of complex bridge structures, including structurally-continuous concrete or steel superstructures.  Experience with Leap Bridge Concrete (Conspan & RC-Pier), MDX, FB-MultiPier, GT STRUDL, and MicroStation is a plus.
