Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Are you a user-focused content strategist passionate about driving impact by serving up the right information to the right people in the right place and at the right time?

As a Senior Content Designer of Seller Education for Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), you'll sit on the WFS Content Team and collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, the seller content community, and more to craft seller-facing education content strategies for a portfolio of projects. You'll use your storytelling talent to empower our sellers to grow their sales through clear, compelling content served up to them when they need it. Working closely with your project stakeholders, you'll develop instructional content in a variety of formats that clearly explains processes and key information about our programs and services to sellers. This content will drive WFS sellers to take action when necessary and guide them to effectively and accurately operate their day-to-day business. Ultimately, you'll transform complex information into best-in-class content, keeping our sellers' needs top of mind.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • You have at least 3-5 years of experience in content design, instructional design, learning and development, or a related content-focused role.

  • You obsess over your users and understand innately what "less is more" means to the user.

  • You have great storytelling skills and can use them to think about how content plays a role in the end-to-end educational experience.

  • You have a keen eye for consistency and attention to detail, upholding content standards and guidelines with conviction and calling out gaps when you see them.

  • When requirements change or business needs pivot, you're not afraid to tear the content strategy down and rebuild it. You're comfortable using both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.

  • You're passionate about finding (and using!) the right content format (written, visual, audio, or other) to educate your users most effectively.

  • You love curating learning content for users that meets them where they're at in their journey.

  • You're effective at working cross-functionally within a complex ecosystem of stakeholders and thought partners.

  • You have a passion for writing, enthusiasm for spreading the word, and a desire to make a positive impact on the team's culture.

  • You're organized and disciplined and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • You're stimulated by challenges and are ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.

You'll make an impact by...

  • Helping to define the seller education content strategy of WFS by owning the strategy and output of seller-facing educational content across all stages of the seller lifecycle.

  • Leveraging your content expertise to generate ideas and evaluate opportunities for scaling and elevating the impact of the WFS Content Team.

  • Working with cross-functional partners to align on content deliverables and timelines, proposing trade-off decisions as needed.

  • Completing the end-to-end seller education content strategy development process for a portfolio of projects (discovery, ideation, iteration, and analysis).

  • Independently developing content requirements, project sizing, and prioritization against other projects, influencing the broader content team roadmap.

  • Independently managing your personal workload and stakeholder relationships.

  • Collaborating with product owners, business operators, seller content owners, and other key stakeholders at varying degrees of project involvement (embedded, consulting, etc.).

  • Ensuring that WFS seller-facing content is concise, relevant, actionable, and user-friendly.

  • Contributing to the maintenance and growth of editorial content standards and guidelines.

  • Working quickly to create or review content for stakeholders and incorporate feedback.

  • Create a best-in-class learning experience for both new and experienced WFS sellers.

  • Act as a strong advocate for WFS sellers.
