Position Summary:

The Assistant Management and Program Analyst will support the Office of Program Management within the national Technical Information Service (NTIS).

  • Conduct facility studies on a recurring basis. Analyze options, estimate cost-and-labor requirements, and submit written assessments and recommendations.
  • Provide agency-wide facility support including conference room setups, multi-media presentation setups, establishing and relocating systems furniture.
  • Analyze work requirements, workflow, and space usage of alternate format projects, and provide written assessments and recommendations for distribution to program managers.
  • Produce Reduce-the-Footprint reports as requested.
  • Create space designs, templates and schematic representations of agency-wide space usage and workflow, and in greater detail, operating unit usage and workflow.
  • Manage approximately 7,000 square feet of GSA-leased warehouse space, to include organizing, retrieving, and disbursing archived materials, equipment, furniture, and supplies.
  • Manage and perform all agency and project shipping functions and intra-agency mail distribution. Manage and disperse all agency infrastructure support material and supplies. Manage, document, and maintain all freight processes.
  • Report the status of specific task/work accomplished, specific problems and issues associated with the work, and recommendations monthly.
  • shall update standard operating procedures for alternate format projects annually.
  • Prepare reports of specific interest to Project Managers as tasked. These reports will require research, assessment, and recommendations.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the management of multiple projects.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning, organization and communication skills associated with warehouse, facility, and program operations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in analysis of costs, workflow, work performance and operational requirements assessment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating an agency-wide mail system.
  • Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain/maintain site access.
