Job Description:

Basic Qualifications

Education/Training:  A high school diploma or equivalent.

Skill(s):  Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills; proficient mathematics skills; moderate personal relations and communicative skills; proficient manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; moderate computer skills; ability to lift items weighing up to twenty (20) lbs.; working knowledge of documents used by the institution for both deposit and loan operations; visual and auditory skills.

Experience:  None required.


General Responsibilities

Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the imaging function; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information.

 

Essential Duties

1.    Performs a variety of duties to support the imaging function for the organization, of which the following are illustrative:

a.    Collects work to be processed frequently from various locations; prepares work and the equipment for operation.

b.    Processes work through scanner.

c.    Proves work at imaging workstations; researches errors; informs appropriate party if there are any changes to be made in the documents.

d.    Researches documents as needed for internal use. May be called upon to assist internal personnel where and how documents are indexed for retrieval.

e.    Maintains standards for indexing for future information retrieval.

f.    Maintains daily workflow of critical documents for immediate retrieval.

g.    Re-files documents within the software as needed.


2.    Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.

3.    Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.

4.    Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness.

5.    Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate Bank personnel.

6.    Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other Bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

Ancillary Duties

1.    Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

2.    Performs basic cleaning of scanner unit.

3.    Opens tickets with JH support for basic service pertaining to his or her scanner.

4.    Looks for ways to improve his/her daily work responsibilities as well as daily work flow for the department.
