Quality Program Manager

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an Employee-Owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking a Quality Program Manager to support the corporate Quality Team. The manager will support the development and implementation of project management and corporate processes across the organization. The manager will lead the project management community and ensure project managers have the information, processes, and tools needed to manage their projects. In addition, the manager will help ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and CMMI, perform data analysis, support implementation of process improvements, and support training.

Tasks include:

  • Documenting and implementing project management processes and tools
  • Working closely with project managers to provide guidance and resolve issues
  • Coordinating training for the project management community
  • Supporting maintenance of corporate certifications, to include ISO 9001 and CMMI
  • Performing data analysis to identify trends and process improvements
  • Supporting development and updates to internal project management tools
  • Participating in CMMI appraisals as needed
  • Conducting training for project managers as needed
  • Conducting internal process audits as needed

  • Understanding of project management best practices
  • Ability to work with a team but also independently
  • U.S. citizen
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to provide high quality work
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices
  • Experience creating processes that are compliant with CMMI
  • Experience performing internal process audits
  • Proficient in MS Teams

  • 10 years of experience managing teams and implementing best practices
  • Experience creating new processes and training personnel on how to use the processes

Preferred Experience:

  • Member of a quality team responsible for process development and implementation
  • Experience with CMMI and ISO 9001

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education

Preferred Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited school by a national or regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • CMMI model training
