Ultimate Staffing is seeking an RMA Material Handler for our client in Santa Clara. This is a 100% onsite, temp to perm, Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm shift with a starting pay of $21-$24 an hour based on experience. Summary


The position of Material Handler - The RMA Material Handler is responsible for managing the flow of returned products and ensuring they are processed accurately and efficiently. This role involves handling returned products, documenting returns, coordinating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Position includes basic warehouse equipment knowledge and usage.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other Duties not listed may be assigned.







Daily Responsibilities % of Job - 90%


• Processing Returns: Receive, inspect, and process system receiving for materials or products from customers or other departments.


• Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory levels of returned items, ensuring accurate records in inventory management systems.


• Shipment Inspection: Inspect returned items for defects, damage, or non-conformance to company standards and determine appropriate action.


• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed records of returned items, including reasons for return, inspection results, and actions taken.


• Picking, packing, and Shipping: Physically pick and pack items for return to customers, repair, or disposal, and arrange for shipping.


• Communication with customers or carriers regarding the status of their returns, providing updates and resolving any issues or concerns.


• Follow work instruction: Ensure all processes comply with company policies and standard process.


• Reporting: Generate and distribute regular reports on RMA activities, including volume, types of returns, and trends


• Assist in the development and implementation of improved return handling processes.


• Perform other duties as assigned.


Warehouse Efficiencies % of Job - 5%


• Builds and maintains a work environment that is positive and is supported by open feedback and two-way communications at all levels.


• Keeps warehouse organized and clean at all times.


Team Building/Leadership % of Job - 5%


• Responsible for maintaining a positive work environment while supporting the company's culture.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Education and/or Experience


• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.


• Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc.


• Process basic knowledge of computer systems, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP, QAD, SAP & Freight carrier system.


Additional Desirable Traits:


• Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)..


• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment.


• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.


• Problem-solving skills and ability to handle returns efficiently.


• Hands-on and has ambition and drive to succeed - "Makes things happen".


• Goal oriented and must be accustomed to achieving results through teamwork.


• Is capable of maintaining the stamina needed for long hours of standing, stooping, bending, in warehouse environment.


• Requires good attendance and ability to work OT as scheduled.
