Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of ETL Developer / Senior Consultant within our team. This role offers remote work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee data analysis, transfer, and monitoring of all information needed for enterprise reporting or system interfaces
Install processes for auditing data warehouse transfers, storage, and data quality
Develop data flow diagrams (technical and functional)
Responsible for writing complex SQL queries for mining of operational data
Set up ETL OLEDB, flat file and other source and destination connection managers
Create various SSIS transformations and tasks as per requirements and best practices
Create dynamic file paths, archival paths, for each loops, variables, parameters and expressions
Deployments of ETLs between Dev, QA and Prod using SSSI config files and scripts
Hands on Experience with deploying, checking in and out, exporting ETL packages using SVN/GIT
Best practices/standard procedures for SQL
Trouble shooting issues with ETL solutions
Performance tuning SQL queries and SSIS solutions etc.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proactive mindset and ability to multitask
Analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you're developing considers the current architecture and operating
Develop, test, debug, document and help operationalize various ETL applications leveraging industry best practices
Collaborate with architects, team leads and team members to architect and design solutions to meet functional and technical requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
5 - 8 years of ETL experience required
5 - 8 years of database experience required
Experience with various ETL tools in an audited environment
Experience with Data Warehouse technologies
Experience with enterprise reporting packages
Cloud technologies experience
Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
Has working experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database
Experience in Tuning SQL to improve execution performance
Demonstrated experience with SSIS tool
The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. This includes, but is not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. At Voyatek, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $80,800 to $129,000.
