Job Description Summary:

As a Senior Product Manager, you are at the forefront of developing and enhancing our merchant lifecycle solutions, with a specific focus on creating robust platform API capabilities. This role demands a strategic blend of technical prowess and business acumen, as you will be responsible for crafting a platform that not only meets but anticipates the needs of merchants and partners. Through collaboration with engineering teams and direct engagement with customers and stakeholders, you will lead platform enhancements that are both high-quality and market leading.

Your Day-to-Day:



  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to map out and implement feature enhancements and new API integrations.

  • Engage in continuous dialogue with customers and partners to validate and refine requirements and functionalities.

  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features based on strategic importance and customer feedback.

  • Oversee the development process, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.

  • Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to guide future product developments.




Key Responsibilities:




Platform Strategy and Vision:



  • Lead the development of the platform's strategic vision, focusing on scalable API solutions that facilitate seamless integrations for merchants and partners.

  • Identify opportunities for innovation within the platform, setting goals that align with the broader business objectives and market demands.




Collaboration and Leadership:



  • Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements, prioritize features, and oversee the development lifecycle to ensure timely and effective product enhancements.

  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and expectations.




Customer and Market Insights:



  • Directly engage with customers and partners to gather comprehensive insights into their needs and experiences. Use this feedback to tailor API functionalities that enhance user satisfaction and engagement.

  • Conduct market research to stay informed of industry trends and competitor strategies, positioning our platform to leverage emerging technologies and market opportunities.




Execution and Impact:



  • Lead the execution of platform enhancements, from concept through deployment, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations.

  • Utilize data-driven approaches to measure the impact of new features and optimizations, continuously refining our offerings based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.




What You Need to Bring to the Table:



  • A strong track record in product management with a focus on technology platforms and API development.

  • Deep understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies.

  • Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a capability to use data effectively in decision-making.

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate product vision and roadmap to stakeholders at all levels.

  • A passion for staying on top of tech trends and learning new technologies.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
