Role Overview: As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in our organization, working collaboratively with leaders across our Business and IT departments. Your primary responsibility will be to lead activities, identify business flows, and translate them into actionable requirements. You'll partner with both Business and IT teams throughout the development and project deployment process to ensure requirements are met and solutions are aligned with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business process owners to improve processes continually.
Develop and refine business requirements aligned with organizational strategy.
Facilitate Process Mapping exercises to identify current state and future state processes.
Plan, conduct, and facilitate the analysis of complex business issues, proposing process changes and information systems solutions.
Maintain awareness of project requirements and adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.
Lead and participate in project requirements gathering activities using established departmental practices and templates.
Create and maintain documentation such as policies, procedures, workflows, and user guides.
Assist IT staff in recording existing processes and organizing knowledge bases to support process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 7 years' experience as a senior level analyst in business analysis or business systems analysis, preferably in the transportation industry.
Proven ability to take ownership and accountability for requirements outcomes.
Strong skills in elicitation, organization, and documentation of business requirements.
Excellent meeting facilitation and communication skills.
Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio or Miro.
Results-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
