Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX looking for a Patch Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Patch Management: Identify, test, and deploy patches and updates for a variety of applications and systems to ensure security and stability

  • Software Development: Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software applications using ESQL, SQL, Java, and server-side JavaScript (Node.js, V8)

  • Front-End Development: Utilize JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, ReactJS) to create and maintain dynamic web applications

  • Server Management: Manage and configure Jakarta TOMCAT Servlet Engine and IIS, ensuring optimal performance and security

  • Database Administration: Develop and maintain database applications, perform SQL queries, and generate reports using SQL, SSRS, and Power BI

  • Scripting: Write and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency

  • System Administration: Manage and support M365 Suite, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Certificate Services

  • Troubleshooting: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues across various platforms and applications

  • SDLC: Follow and contribute to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security professionals to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications and systems







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus

  • 3-5+ years of experience in software development, patch management, and troubleshooting

  • Proficiency in ESQL, SQL, and Java

  • Strong front-end development skills with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, ReactJS)

  • Experience with server-side JavaScript (Node.js, V8)

  • Knowledge of Jakarta TOMCAT Servlet Engine and IIS

  • Proficiency in SQL, SSRS, and Power BI for database and reporting tasks

  • Familiarity with M365 Suite, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Certificate Services

  • Strong scripting abilities for automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)

  • Understanding of SDLC processes and best practices






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
