RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Device Integration Engineer in Boston, MA.

Summary:
The candidate will focus on integrating clinical devices with EHR systems. The Device Integration Engineer will be responsible for the ongoing support troubleshooting and maintenance of integrated clinical devices being supported by the Masimo interface. You will lead in collaboration between internal teams including interfaces, EHR application teams, Clinical engineering and Infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors and partners. You will be the lead on integration projects, adhering to the IT System Lifecycle methodology, producing functional and/or technical specifications, conducting meetings, completing system upgrades, and coordinating volume testing, leading, and adhering to the IT system change management processes.

Responsibilities:


  • Work with the user community to develop functional business requirements that adhere to the standard IT project methodology

  • Be the lead in resolving cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing, implementation, and support of the lifecycle

  • Supports assigned production environments, troubleshoots technical application issues, documents incoming requests whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor; Delivers high quality support during the implementation of new devices

  • Provides Clinical device related guidance to other team members

  • Maintains/Writes documentation and procedures for managing integrated clinical devices with the HER

  • Provide updates on status and progress of support tasks and projects







REQUIREMENTS:



  • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed

  • Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
