Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Network Engineer in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving operations excellence by implementing strategies for continuous integration and delivery


• Operate, support, and improve our tools for continuous integration, automated testing and release management


• Drive increased efficiency across our agile product delivery teams, eliminating duplication and leveraging product and technology reuse


• Work alongside Solutions Architects to design efficient platform ecosystem to enable DevOps maturity and release pipeline autonomy


• Document and advocate adoption of our continuous delivery/continuous integration processes and tools to increase product team productivity

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree/College Diploma /Equivalent Technical Certifications and/or experience


• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience providing desktop support in an Active Directory environment


• Comprehensive understanding and experience deploying network services and protocols such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, LAN Switching Technologies, Next-Gen Firewalls (Fortinet preferred) and Load Balancing


• Experience utilizing a public cloud sector


• Prior experience working with industry networking tools: monitoring, management inventory management, DNS solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
