RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Hoboken, NJ that is seeking a Workday Implementation Lead.

Summary:
The Workday Implementation Lead will serve as the primary workstream lead for the Grants Module during the implementation of Workday within our organization. This role will collaborate closely with the Workday Project Team and the Office of Sponsored Accounting (OSA) to ensure successful implementation of the Grants Module. The Workday Implementation Lead will be responsible for overseeing configuration, testing, troubleshooting, change management, and training related to the Grants Module. Additionally, this position requires prior experience in grant administration and previous involvement in Workday implementation projects.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the Grants Module workstream during the implementation of Workday, ensuring alignment with project timelines, objectives, and deliverables

  • Work closely with the Workday Project Team and the Office of Sponsored Accounting (OSA) to gather requirements, define business processes, and facilitate communication throughout the implementation process

  • Oversee the configuration of the Grants Module within Workday, including system setup, data migration, and integration with existing systems; Lead testing efforts to ensure the functionality and accuracy of the Grants Module

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the Grants Module, providing support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues encountered during implementation and post-implementation phases

  • Develop and implement change management strategies to support the adoption of the Grants Module by end users; Provide guidance and support to stakeholders to facilitate a smooth transition to the new system

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end users on the functionality and use of the Grants Module within Workday; Provide ongoing support and assistance to users as needed







REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required; Advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant administration, including knowledge of grant management processes and regulations

  • Previous experience participating in Workday implementation projects, with expertise in configuring and testing Workday modules preferred

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Proficiency in change management methodologies and training techniques, with experience implementing system changes in complex organizational environments






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
