This position is the primary Quality and Food Safety (Q&FS) partner for the Value Stream (Pilot plant) in providing technical leadership in the implementation and, continuous improvement of the Quality Management Process (QMP) to enable the reliable delivery of products that meet all external legislative requirements and all internal Quality & Food Safety global standards.
What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements
BS degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Engineering, Chemistry or related technical field with 2+ years of demonstrated success in food manufacturing / quality / lab experience OR
Advanced degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Engineering, Chemistry or related technical field and internship in quality and food safety in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated leadership capabilities in leading/influencing others
Ability to travel 10% of the time
What will be your key responsibilities?
Implement QMS related standards into the value stream and drive to full compliance. Manage the food safety program within the value stream including achieving compliance with any required external standards (e.g. FSC 22000, GFSI, FSMA)
Oversee QMS program for Pilot Plant, including but not limited to document control, internal audits, continuous improvement, CAPAs, nonconformances, management review, etc. Member of the site HACCP and Internal Audit team for the site
Responsible PCQI for the Pilot Plant. Accountable for the verification of effective implementation of corrective /preventive action plans. First line Q&FS incident management including handling coordination with stakeholders.
Responsible for the quality agenda in the value stream (Identify key priorities related to Q&FS KPI's and align strategy and resource allocation within the Value Stream, monitor and report progress against agreed objectives).
Manage consumer/customer complaint investigations for the HKP factory including trending and data analysis. Perform trending and data analysis for HKP factory quality and food safety performance and ensure proper escalation and communication for corrective actions
Support and drive other Q&FS initiatives as directed by Q&FS Manager
